CHAPTER 5
We had a leader, David that was in charge and made most of the choices; he seems to be in his late forties. He was the one that kept us alive for so long but with time, our numbers began to decline due to sicknesses, or lack of proper care to their injuries. We, being so attached to technology made the situation even worse and difficult to be in as we couldn’t do much on our own. I only had a few gashes here and there that came from the time I went home, which was nothing compared to what I’ve seen. Some groups turned into worse savages, committing crimes here and there; from theft to assault or even worse murder. As time went by, we kept an eye out for endangered regions and learnt how to subsist on very little. Six other travelers joined our group which helped to the contribution as our numbers went down. They spent most of their time travelling, so they knew a lot about the road. We travelled for a few weeks moving around all day, with hopes of finding a suitable location to set up camp.
