CHAPTER 4
The word fell into chaos with no technology and the climate worsening. The heat became unbearable as it worsened injuries. Within the first two weeks, at least half of the world population had died which made our fears worse as anyone could be next; people were dying every single day, hour, minute or even second. People divided into groups and set up camps with the hopes of safety. I found a group of 20 and quickly joined as it was impossible to survive alone. We survived eating nuts and taste less soup. Nobody cared about taste anymore, we weren’t eating for satisfaction, we were eating to survive! There was no room for preferences anymore. We would usually divide ourselves into groups of 5, which made it 4 groups in total. Nobody had developed any strong relationships as people were still in shock, and we were only sticking together for survival.
