CHAPTER 2
I well recall that day at college when I was zoning out on what my physics robot professor was demonstrating. Suddenly, a thunderous blast caused the earth to shake, everything shattered from vibrations, fire everywhere, terrified cries and screaming. Even our advanced technology couldn’t save us from this. We all rushed out as extremely loud alarms were blearing. I felt dizzy as everything was so chaotic. When I noticed the expanding earth fissures, my heart froze. What was going on? While running, I tried contacting my parents with the hologram on my wrist but to no avail. What is going on? There’s no technology at all? Why is my hologram blank like it was nothing? I paused and paid attention to my surroundings. This isn’t just me, there is no technology at all! How is that possible? I’ve never experienced no technology in my entire life! Another loud noise that shocks the ground suddenly brought me back to my surroundings, Order suddenly disappeared as fear grabbed over. I ran as quickly as I could, with one destination in mind: home.
