CHAPTER 1
In the year 2222, we saw the beautiful world we lived in come to an end. Everything gone! We were living in a technologically advanced era where we had powered plants, which meant no food shortage. Space travel being so common, as we could visit to see what we have up there, holography for communication and robots that do any hard work labour for us. I always think about how it was like being around much earlier in the year 2016 or 2022 because I can’t imagine how they could live without powered plants; like how the hell did they live? Depend solely on nature? Visiting space wasn’t a norm for them as they couldn’t just walk up to some space station and book a ticket to any planet like we could; they did not develop the means to make it safe so, it was risky. They were not technologically advanced at all; their planes could crash, they didn’t have air cars and had to drive on the ground alone, and even worse, had to cook and clean by themselves. I wouldn’t survive a day. What would happen if I got cancer or HIV? They didn’t have a cure for those; now I can just get in the treatment scanner for a minute and good to go. HIV and cancer free. The world was changing rapidly, and we were learning new things every day. Until the asteroid arrived.
