The Sun

Hello to the Welkin’s eye,
No one doth reach thee even by a flight,
But thou art considr’d as a piece of pie,
For thy refulgent shining light:
O dear titanic star,
Which thou appear solely in daylight,
Albeit thou art supremely far,
But at last thou surround us in every bite:
Sometimes so scorching thine organ supply,
But therein lies our lively vehemence,
And no hatred the man toward you apply,
Because we saw none of thine indifference:
Thou art in our beloved eternal heart,
Thou art most hailed to our orb’s part.
