Sweet bitter love feeding my misfortune,
Sweet bitter love for which I shall fight.
I’m afraid to drain in a somber tune,
For now, I lose my brawn and can’t stay crumpled.
Or swing in regret I cannot repair?
For now, my spirit is being troubled.
In me, everything grows, even despair.
A despair that summons darkness to grieve,
But grief is not of my foolish content.
It is always within me, and in the name of love warding me off to believe.
Even life, but that is not my intent.
Drive me out of this maddening madness.
For in my heart, agony lies restless.
