The heavy body of Mr. Ross dragged across the dirt as the students struggled to carry him to his grave that has yet to be dug. It started to get harder to see as the sun slowly started to set. “Oh my my god oh my god oh my god” cried Isabel as she pulled Mr. Ross’s arm. “Stop whining, we’re almost there,” yelled Bobby as he gripped the shovel. His eyes were red and seemed so calm under these horrific circumstances. The smoke leaving his mouth was almost unnoticeable as it camouflaged with the mist. “How about you stop smoking your month’s rent and help us carry Mr. Ross,” mumbled Zoe as her glasses slid off of her nose. She lifted her glasses with shoulder and slid them back up; although they were of no use. It was impossible to see past a few meters. “What was that, smartass?” threatened Bobby gritting his teeth. As he approached Zoe, Sam let go of Mr. Ross’s legs and stepped in between Bobby and Zoe. Hovering over Bobby, Sam glared at him and whispered, “If it wasn’t for your idea to put half your stash of pills in Mr. Ross’s coffee, we would still be sitting in detention right now, and I would still have my football scholarship to UCLA, so you better help us hide this body before we have another corpse on our hands”. Just when Bobby started to dig, Mr. Ross’s hand slowly started to grab the grass. He groaned in pain and muttered, “Where am I? What have you kids done to me?”. Not knowing whether to feel relief or fear, the children glared at each other in disbelief. Everyone then turned to Bobby waiting for his reaction. Bobby then knelt down towards Mr. Ross. Mr. Ross, confused and scared, said, “Bob, is that you?”. Bobby then replied, “Yup, I wasn’t expecting you to wake up again. This is for all of the crap you gave me all these years. This is for mom. Goodbye dad”. Bobby then lifted his shovel and dropped it on Mr.
Ross’s head. A puddle of blood started forming on the ground of the forest, and slowly dripped into the unfinished grave.
