Whispers of Belonging

I hear my breath echoing
My vessel frigid I keep chanting

Haunting whispers it warms my cells
A reminder of life flowing in my veins

I could be in the woods
Feels obscure, it lures

I’m not lost neither found
Alone I am crowned

In the depths of my existence
Amber and painite are my essence

Residing behind my eyes
Infinite depth and healing in disguise

I hear the echoes of the world
Shallow souls crawled from the underworld

Where is my tribe
The profound souls and minds
The people with a psyche that surpasses space and time
The intellects of the spirit I admire

The Stuck: Sixteen nights of insomnia The 86th Day of Pain /

I can’t describe what happened in any way,
Simply, it happened just before Monday midnight,
Since then, Tuesday morning has not yet come.
Please my god,
How does the pain stop?

A Deceiving Love

Your eyes are like a full bright moon,

A hair so blond incomparable to the sun

Ever since you left, I know you’re coming back soon,

People keep deny it but I’m confident you’re the one.

Never have I seen such divine beauty,

When I’m with you I feel blessed,

Loving you is my eternal duty,

Remembering how we parted makes me depressed.

A smile capable of brining the dead to life,

Your voice is music to my ears,

Without you my existence is nothing more than a strife,

The memories we shared will last for years.

You filled the void while I was down,

You brought me joy when I had pain,

I wish you were still around,

Your departure drove me insane.

Day after day, your image still lives in my head,

Letting go of you was my biggest regret,

I wonder why you fled,

Our love isn’t something to forget.

Oh, my lover, would I ever feel relieved,

Since you’re gone, I’ve only been deceived.

Of Drowned Perfection

They called it the fire of innocence,

The flames of two bounded souls.

And it was perfect.

I gazed at your face,

I saw the blaze, the firestorm,

I saw the anguish, the desire,

And I burnt, brightly.

Your words, my dear, nourished the spirit inside

That for long, yearned to abide.

We met and melt.

We fell and felt.

We loved and left.

They called it faith,

The destiny of two tortured phantoms.

And it was perfect.

I gazed at your eyes,

I saw the wind, the rain,

And I grew, endlessly.

Your words, my dear, watered the bloom inside,

That for long, wished to have died.

We were a sinking boat,

Heavier than broken stars,

We were a wrecked crate,

Carriers of a doomed end.

They called it bitterness,

The fortune of every being.

And it was perfect.

I gazed at your heart,

I saw the dread, the torture,

And I drowned, perfectly.

Your sight, my dear, extinguished the incentive inside,

That for long, had cried.

Slowly, gently, it died,

I died, you died,

We died.

They called it love,

The ache the two quiddities share.

And it was perfect.

I gazed at you,

I saw the demise, the casualty,

And I broke, happily.

Your warmth, my dear, had frozen the flames inside,

That for long, had tried.

ⴰⵎⴰⵏⵓⵣ- Amanuz

Amanuz

Amanuz was the place of courage, knowledge, and patriotism in which our ancestors lived, grew up, and learned. Amanuz said her word to French colonialism when all the tribes of Amanoz met in the days of the struggle. Also, Amanoz has always believed in the independence of their country, Morocco.

I’m proud of the Amanoz villages since they gave the country strength and leadership in political, medicinal, and religious affairs, and their figures are known for their sacrifices, resistance, and self-denial for the independence of our Morocco and laying foundations for the homeland like dignity, equality, and equal opportunities.

From Lovers to Strangers

The sparkle has gone darker

And the nights became colder

The two lovers turned from lovers

To strangers

Their love was like the sun

So warm and bright

That you could feel their happiness

From miles away

But the cold moon had hidden

The bright shining sun

Creating an endless eclipse

Of two gone lovers

The sparkle has completely disappeared

As if it was never sparkling

The grief has come to an end

But memories will forever stay

Meaning

The poem shows how the love of two ex-lovers vanished as if they were strangers. Their love was so strong and obvious that it was compared to the sun. However, at the end their love and grief for each other’s loss ended and the only thing that was still linking them are the memories they had when they were together.

Cancer Free

It is 9 o’clock in the evening in Paris. The city of lights is shining bright with a thousand lights this night. But more precisely, a small room in a chemo clinic called The Tilleuls. It is slightly dark in the tiny room that we could only see the green heartbeats on the machine. The damaged lamp is blinking with a dull light that hurts your eyes. It smells like the hospital of abundant.

I can see a teenage girl laying in her death bed and next to her was the chemotherapy machine that is the only thing making her look alive. On a broken bedside table was her diary and a family photo.

Nancy is a 17-year-old girl who is sick with cancer. She has been fighting against it for more than three months. Next to her, on a torn leather sofa, is sitting her mom, Laura. She seems stressed and worried.

– “How much?”, Nancy said in a calm voice.

– “I… I ca…I can’t”, Laura responded with tears in her eyes.

– “Just tell me. It is okey, mom”.

– “The doctors said that you only have 2 days left to live. I am so sorry Nancy. I did everything to help you, but this clinic is the only thing I could afford, and they couldn’t even keep an eye on you! “, shouted Laura.

– “At least now, I still have times to say my prayers and goodbyes”, added Nancy.

– “I have something to tell you.”

– “Yes mom. I am all ears”.

– “I always wanted to bring it up to you, unfortunately I did not have the courage”.

– “It is all right. If you have something to tell me, I think you should now. I don’t have much time to live, anyways…”

– “You know that I love you Nancy and I always will. You will always be my little girl.”

– “I love you too mom.”

– “You are…You…I can’t …”

– “Mom! Come on!”

– “All right. I wanted…I am sorry. I did everything to give you the life you deserve. You…”

– “Mom!”

– “You are adopted! Your adoptive parents left you on the side of my door when you were a baby. They couldn’t take care of you. They left you! It broke my heart. From that day until now, I promised myself that I would always love you and take care of you. I am the one who raised you, who fed you, who cried when you were injured, who worried when you came home late and who was and is always here. I feel so bad. I am sorry I hid it from you. I…I just wanted to protect you.”

-“….”

– “Nancy please say something”

A tear dropped from Nancy’s eyes.

– “Say something Nancy. I am so sorry my little girl. Please forgive me. I always loved you from the beginning. I do not care about your answer, you will still be my daughter.”

– “I love you mom”, Nancy said with a smile and tears dropping like a waterfall.

Laura was chocked and relieved that Nancy did not react badly to this heartbreaking news. She put her head on her chest and kept holding her hand. But then, something felt wrong. The heartbeats on the machine started slowing down. Laura felt Nancy’s body becoming cold and weak.

– “No! Not now! Noooo! Nancy! Nancy! Nancy! Baby girl No!”, she kept crying.

-“…’

During February the first, Nancy passed away in the Clinic of Tilleuls. She died with a purified soul and a relieved mind. She left this word with an unforgettable love for her mother. She stayed there with her from the beginning. She was the only one.

Original Sonnet – Silence

I woke up in the dread city alone,
Stillness silence whispering in my ears
A faery forest where there sleeps a Faun
Footsteps that make no sound upon the floor

Tho’ I could fly over the sky from him
A flash of luminous, lit, lucent light
Tho’ fly, flee, free beyond the ocean’s rim.
On the fierce bloody, brownie, black, brave night

Stillness, silent sounds wave their little wings
My mind feels like a deserted island
Drown on the flowing flood that soundless swings.
Silence ringing inside my buried mind

Quiet hovering over pools profound,
Carry me, carry me to the deep end.
