We awoke on a cold December dawn,

Our souls stirring at the sunrise.

The symphony of the deathless waves,

Tickling the long-perished desire.

We awoke as we never slept,

The chanting of your heartbeat,

Endlessly singing in my ears.

I see your ghost when I close my eyes.

Together, my love,

We fell asleep to the melodies of heaven,

And we woke to the hymns of hell,

Blissful agony.

And in the haze,

A peaceful storm,

Of dread and longing,

Of love and hate,

Of apathy and passion.

Honey, we are past long dreams,

We are the horrors of the abyss,

The shadows of a nightmare.

And I fight to close my eyes,

Forever,

I wish to leave it all soon.
