It was the sound of a quiver,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As my hand slid towards my quiver,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And as I could no longer feel my heart nor my liver.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They were racing towards us, like a river.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And soon, hope slimmed down to a sliver.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Those were beasts, foul men, here to deliver<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Death and despair upon every soul standing on the light side of the river.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHold! My soldiers.\u201d Shouted my liege. \u201cHit them with a rain of cuivre!\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet their eyes feared not, and our entire line was ashiver.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
